Assassin's Creed's educational tours of Greece and Egypt are now free on PC

There’s been a lot of Assassin’s Creed news as of late with the latest iteration; Valhalla being announced. However, it is the older Origins and Odyssey variants that have made the press today with the publisher making the Discovery tours of both games available for free on PC.

These educational expansions allow players to explore the ancient history of both Greece and Egypt through expert-guided tours created by historians and learn the facts behind the worlds Ubisoft has created.

If you’re looking to grab both of these expansions, click this link and you should be taken to a page where you can download not only these expansions but also a bunch of other free titles.

This is the latest in their efforts as part of the Play Your Part, Play at Home campaign which has seen a number of free games become available for those stuck in four walls due to the COVID-19 pandemic. You’re able to download these free titles up until May 21st so it’s worth heading over there now and grabbing them before they fade from existence.

These tours are certainly worth a download not only to view the incredible vistas of these ancient lands but also to learn some historically accurate facts that may pique your interest into delving deeper into mythological lore.

We hope Ubisoft continues the trend of these educational expansions and we’ll see the true facts about the Vikings in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla!
