AMD Radeon RX 6000 series design revealed in Fortnite
Full reveal to go live on October 28th

It’s certainly an exciting time for gaming PC owners with the impending release of Nvidia’s revolutionary RTX 3000 series GPUs. But, to add to the pile of tech releasing in the coming months, AMD has released the first images of their Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards in Fortnite of all places.
The AMD Radeon Twitter account published a tweet giving us a first look into what many are suggesting is the new 6900XT GPU, alongside a Fortnite Creative Island code (8651-9841-1639) so you can get a full 360 view of the unit itself, allowing you to get into every nook and cranny if you wish. This is definitely a different take on a GPU ‘first look’ but with the number of Fortnite crossovers as of late, it’s not surprising a company like AMD is utilizing the game as a marketing tool.

It also seems prolific tech YouTuber JayzTwoCents has managed to acquire the first ‘real world’ image of an RX 6000 series graphics card which can be seen below.
As shown in AMD’s render, the leaked photo, and the 3D model in Fortnite, this set of GPUs seems to have moved away from the single blower design, which many users suggested just didn’t provide enough cooling and instead, have opted for a triple axial fan design to aid that. However, interestingly, they’ve stuck with the traditional 2×8-pin ATX power connectors over Nvidia’s new 12-pin design, potentially meaning that the 12-pin connectors aren’t going to be becoming the norm and rather solely implemented in Nvidia cards.
