Ampere based Nvidia RTX 3000 series release schedule leaked

It’s been a long two years since the Nvidia GTX 2080 Ti was released but it seems the release of the highly anticipated Nvidia RTX 3000 series is imminent. While there’s no official word from Nvidia themselves, Chinese site mydrivers.com has leaked the release schedule for the whole lineup.

The release is apparently a staggered process, with the first of the graphics cards being available from mid-August and the others following in the latter months. According to mydrivers.com, the RTX 3080 Ti will be the first to be released, potentially around August 18th, 2020, similar to that of the 2080 Ti that came out on that exact date two years ago. The RTX 3080, the Ti’s baby brother, has a suspected release of September 17th, one month later, and the more mid-range and budget options, the RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 will release in October and November respectively.

When all of the release dates become official from Nvidia themselves, we’ll be sure to get a ‘Where to buy’ page up for you so you can get your hands on a fresh RTX 3000 series graphics card.

All of these GPUs will be a big boost in performance over the previous generation and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re sure that they’ll be in short supply so grab keep refreshing those order pages when they go live!
