Nvidia RTX 3070 stock considerably larger than RTX 3080 & RTX 3090

In Asia at least...

Nvidia has had a bit of a rough time of it from consumers recently due to the less than impressive stock levels of the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 on their launch days. This backlash caused Nvidia to delay the more budget RTX 3070 by two weeks, again disappointing potential buyers but with a caveat of potentially increased supply. However, this delay seems to have had the desired effect with reports that RTX 3070 stock levels are ‘considerably larger’ than that of the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 graphics cards.

Reports from PC Watch, coming out of the Asia Pacific, are that there is certainly beefed up stock levels of the 3070 with multiple Japanese retailers guaranteeing that there will be plenty of GPUs available come launch on October 29th. The graphics cards however will still be on a first come first served basis with a ticketing system in place for once wanting to visit stores in person. This is definitely positive for consumers who are wanting to purchase a 3070 and hope that one, these rumors are true, and two, that these stock levels are shared worldwide, not restricted to just this region.

On that point, there are unfortunately conflicting reports coming out of Europe, more specifically, from a Danish retailer Proshop, who suggested that their stock levels are far from plentiful. Proshop has actually implied that their RTX 3070 supply is less than 8% of expected demand which is extremely worrying for Europeans who are expecting to pick up this new GPU with little to no concerns considering the pushed-back release.

With the AMD Radeon RX 6000 series GPU announcement imminent, we hope the Asia Pacific stock level rumors are true, rather than that of Proshop for Nvidia, or already frustrated buyers might make the jump to AMD, especially if the leaked specs are anything to go by.
