Where To Buy AMD Ryzen 4000 Series Processors – Where To Buy & How Much?

AMD has just announced its 4000 series processors

AMD are back again, injecting even more choice into the PC/laptop building market with their brand new line of 4000 series processors. Set to be released in the third quarter of 2020, these brand new chips are set to come with integrated Radeon graphics as standard, and are looking to be very exciting in terms of progression when it comes to gaming performance.

Saeid Moshkelani, Senior Vice President had this to say: “AMD is dedicated to continuously pushing the boundaries of processing power and graphics performance to deliver amazing PC experiences for all customers, from mainstream PC users, to gamers, streamers and enterprise users. Today, in association with our longstanding PC partners, we are excited to launch the AMD Ryzen 4000 Series Desktop Processors. The ultimate desktop processors with built-in graphics delivering amazing performance for work or play.”

However, what’s confusing this time round is that AMD are also releasing their Ryzen 5000 series specifically for PCs. Click here to see the full 5000 series lineup and buy your next top tier CPU!

What are the new Ryzen 4000 Series processors?

There are six new processors in the line-up:

  • AMD Ryzen 7 4700G
  • AMD Ryzen 7 4700GE
  • AMD Ryzen 5 4600G
  • AMD Ryzen 5 4600GE
  • AMD Ryzen 3 4300G
  • AMD Ryzen 3 4300GE

All of these processors are going to be shipping with Radeon graphics built right into the chip, and will be working off of the 7nm process and Zen-2 core architecture.

According to AMD, these chips are also going to be capable of offering up to 2.5X multi-threaded performance over the last generation of chips, with (and I’m quoting AMD here) ‘Up to 5% greater single-thread performance than the Intel Core i7-9700, up to 31% greater multithreaded performance than the Intel Core i7-9700, and up to 202% better graphics performance than the Intel Core i7-9700.’

What is the release date of the Ryzen 4000 series processors?

AMD tells us that they will be available starting from the third quarter of this year, so not too long to wait until release at all.

How much will the new Ryzen 4000 Series processors cost?

Right now we aren’t too sure on the specific costs of the 4000 series CPUs- but we can look to the launch price of AMD’s previous chips for comparable prices.

Where can I buy the new Ryzen 4000 Series processors?

Right now AMDs 4000 series processors aren’t currently for sale – but keep an eye on this page as we will be updating it with the latest links to AMD 4000 series retailers as and when they go live.
