Where To Buy AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT GPUs

AMD Are Releasing Their Next Gen Graphics Cards

AMD have just finished their Radeon focussed showcase, and we now know much more about all of the new RDNA2 Radeon GPUs coming out from AMD this year, and we have listed everything you need to know about the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT right here, including its specifications and where you can buy it.

The launch comes at a really exciting time of year, with the 30 series from Nvidia already out there in the wild and the latest Zen 3 processors from AMD also coming out to a rabid audience this year – making 2020 really important in terms of PC gaming.

This is set to be AMD’s flagship card, in direct competition with Nvidia’s 3080 in terms of both performance and price, with their other offerings (the Radeon RX 6800 and the Radeon RX 6900 XT) also offering direct competition to Nvidia’s latest releases. .  Find out how much the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT will cost, where to buy the new RX 6800 XT GPU, and much more below!

What Can You Expect From the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT

During the AMD Radeon event, we were treated to a full reveal of all the specifications inside the new Radeon RX 6800 XT, and you can see the onboard specs below:

AMD Radeon 6800 XT Specifications:

  • 72 Compute units
  • 2015 MHz Game Clock
  • 2250 MHz Boost Clock
  • 128 Mb Infinity Cache
  • 16Gb GDDR6 Memory
  • 300W Total board power
  • 128mb Infinity Cache

All of this combines to make the Radeon RX 6800 XT a direct competitor to Nvidia’s 3080, and the power doesn’t stop with the technical listing.

The Radeon RX 6800XT is capable of delivering 4K resolutions with 60FPS performance in modern games, often exceeding that benchmark and doing it all at a lower power consumption than the 3080, whilst still meeting and beating the 3080 in certain titles when it comes to API.

you can also expect the Radeon RX 6800XT to come with AMD’s new Rage Mode, a one-button overclock mode that takes advantage of the headroom resting inside this GPU to deliver even more intense gaming performance. All of this is made possible because of what AMD are calling AMD Smart Access.

AMD Smart Access is a new method of combining the memory of both the Ryzen 5000 series CPUs and the Radeon 6000 series GPUs together, allowing for up to a 13% increase in performance on the base clock, without any optimization in place from the game developers the GPU is working off.

All of this comes with latency reduction features built to reduce the time between a mouse click and its input appearing on screen, to ensure better FPS performance online in the competitive gaming circuit.

You will also be able to expect full hardware support on the Radeon RX 6800XT for DX12 Ultimate, with AMD Fidelity FX offering the likes of Contrast adaptive sharpening, variable shading effects, ambient occlusion, screen-space reflections, super-resolution, and denoiser effects for enhanced in-game performance.

All in all, this is a very exciting GPU that we can’t wait to see more from – if you are as excited about the 6800XT as we are, then check out where you can buy this GPU below!
